1. Promoter
These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Refer a Friend” referral programme (Programme) operated by As The Kiwi Flies (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Eligibility
Participants in the Programme (“Referrers”) must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into contracts under New Zealand law. Referrers do not need to be current clients, but must provide accurate contact details.
3. How the Programme Works
To be eligible for a referral reward you must refer a person (“Referee”) who:
a) is not already a client of ours for a full home search service;
b) signs up for our full home search service;
c) completes payment in full for that service.
Only once the full payment is received by us will the referral be considered successful and eligible for a reward.
4. Rewards and Values
There are two reward tiers:
a) Former clients of ours (people who have previously used our services) will receive a NZ$150 Prezzy Card once their referral meets all eligibility criteria;
b) Non-clients (people who have never used our services) will receive a NZ$100 Prezzy Card once their referral meets all criteria.
Rewards are only issued by Prezzy Card and have no cash value. You cannot request cash, an alternative payment method, or exchange for goods or services. Rewards are not transferable.
5. Issuing of Prezzy Cards
Prezzy Cards will be issued to the Referrer’s nominated email address or postal address within a reasonable timeframe after confirmation of the referral’s full payment. We are not liable if a card is lost, stolen, or not delivered due to incorrect contact details.
6. Definition of Valid Referral
A referral is valid only if:
a) The Referee has consented to having their details provided to us;
b) The Referrer is the first to refer that person;
c) The Referee signs up for and pays for the full home search service.
Referrals for other services or partial services are not eligible.
7. Use of Personal Information and Privacy
By participating, Referrers confirm they have appropriate consent from Referees to share their personal information for the purposes of this Programme. We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
8. Limits and Conditions
We may, in our sole discretion, refuse to award a reward if we reasonably believe a Referrer or Referee is engaging in deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unlawful conduct. Referrers may participate multiple times.
9. Gift Card Requirements and Expiry
Gift cards issued under this Programme must comply with all statutory rules, including minimum expiry requirements under New Zealand law. If a card has an expiry, it will be clearly stated and comply with the minimum legal expiry period.
10. Changes and Termination of the Programme
We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Programme or these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
